1. Who's responsible for your data

Saccura Group (T) Limited (TIN 188-098-347), based in Dar es Salaam, is the data controller for Sakura Spares.

2. What we collect

• Order details: name, phone, email, delivery address, the parts you buy, payment method (we never see your card number — Pesapal handles that).
• Communication: WhatsApp messages, emails and quote requests you send us.
• Usage data: anonymous analytics — pages viewed, what you searched for, which chassis you picked. Used to improve the catalogue.
• Cookies and local storage: your cart contents and your selected BMW chassis are stored in your browser only — they never leave your device until you submit an order.

3. Why we collect it

• To fulfil and deliver your orders.
• To confirm fitment and answer questions on WhatsApp or email.
• To issue VAT-compliant receipts and meet our accounting obligations.
• To prevent fraud and abuse.
• To send order updates (only). We don't send marketing messages unless you opt in.

4. Who we share it with

• Pesapal— for processing card and mobile-money payments. Pesapal sees your name, email, phone, billing address and the amount you're paying. Pesapal privacy policy.
• Couriers and bus companies — your delivery name, phone and address for parts dispatch.
• Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) — order totals and VAT amounts as required by tax law.
• Sister companies within Saccura Group — only for shared infrastructure (the same accounting and CRM systems serve Sakurahost, Sakura Logistics, SakuraPay and Sakura Spares). Your data is not used for cross-marketing.

We do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not share it with advertisers.

5. How long we keep it

• Order records — kept for 7 years to comply with Tanzanian tax law.
• WhatsApp / email conversations— kept as long as we're still working with you, then archived for 2 years.
• Cart and garage data — only on your device; clearing your browser deletes it.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Send you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct any inaccurate information.
• Delete your information, where we're not legally required to keep it (we still need order records for TRA).
• Opt out of any marketing (we don't currently send marketing, but if we ever do).

7. Security

Our site runs on encrypted connections (HTTPS) end-to-end. Payment is handled by Pesapal, a PCI-DSS-compliant payment aggregator — we never see or store card numbers. Order data is stored on servers operated by Sakurahost in our own infrastructure.

8. Cookies & analytics

We use cookies only where necessary — to keep you logged in, remember your cart, and track anonymous analytics. We don't use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

9. Children

Sakura Spares is intended for adults purchasing on behalf of themselves or their businesses. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always at this URL, with the last-updated date at the top.
